Дорогие друзья,

Рад сообщить Вам , что получено официальное подтверждение от шихана Кацухито Горая на посещение им Украины в мае 2006 года. Указанное решение явилось плодом совместных усилий и поэтому это приятно вдвойне. С этого времени необходимо организовать работу по оповещению членов Федерации, а также освещению данного события в прессе. В связи с этим мною написано обращение к спортсменам и тренерам накануне Нового учебного года, а также интервью, в котором я касаюсь важных для жизни Федерации вопросов. Указанные статью переданы Александру Гусейнову для размещения на официальном сайте.

Dear friends,

I hope this correspondence finds you in good health and spirits.

I am honored to receive the invitation to visit Ukraine in May of 2006, and am glad to accept, thank you.  It would also be my pleasure to meet with the Ukrainian national officials as you request.  

It will not be my first visit to Ukraine .  In 1999, I visited the country to for the Kyokushinkaikan European Championships which was successfully held in Kiev .  Names like S. Vsevolodov, A. Guseinov, V. Maximov, V. Matushin, V. Sukovatiy are closely known to me, as they have been working productively for Kyokushin for many years.  On this invitation as well, I hope to plan a visit to Kiev and other regions of your beautiful country.

I hope that my visit and meetings will be beneficial for you and for the IKO Kyokushinkaikan in Ukraine .
